Club Competitions
The inter club tournaments create a lot of interest and the finals day at the end of September or beginning of October should not be missed.

Play Social Tennis
Weekly Club Night

We set aside Monday evening 6.00p.m. onwards, each week for members to play social tennis and everyone enjoys meeting and playing with colleagues. All members are welcome and games are played on a rota system so that everyone mixes in. Please do not bring visitors on club nights. This is strictly for adults who are able to play.

Individual or group coaching can be arranged for total beginners. and any other members wishing to improve their game. See our notice board for contact numbers.

Juniors are not encouraged on club nights except by invitation of the committee after they are considered to have reached a reasonable level of play.

The one day American tournaments are also very popular and great fun.

Welbeck Tennis Club Junior Section

Our aim at the club is to introduce the great game of tennis to young people and enable them to progress according to their ability so that they are able to play the game successfully and enjoy their time on court.

We appreciate that not everyone will be a champion, however our coaching is aimed at improvement. Those members who do not agree with this should not be taking up the coaches and assistants time and occupying places in the classes when others are waiting to join us.

We have a waiting list of keen youngsters wanting to play hence any junior missing sessions for more than 3 weeks other than illness will be taken off the register and their place taken.

Please do not cause embarrassment by inviting friends but refer potential new members to Rita so that they can join our waiting list.

The coaches and their assistants are fully trained and are in sole charge on the courts.

Parents should not enter the courts unless invited by those in charge.
